AI coding agent with a terminal-first UI

Krasichkaan AI agent that lives in your terminal

An autonomous development agent: give it a task and it works with files, shell, web and screenshots through built-in tools, then returns a finished result. A single Rust runtime powers the TUI, CLI and web app.

Full-screen TUI

Keyboard and mouse chat, tool panels, model switching, session resume

CLI commands

kr do for tasks, kr chat and kr tui for interactive work

Built-in tools

Files, system commands, web, tasks, PTY and screenshots — with streaming execution

Sessions and history

Multi-turn sessions with persistent history and image attachments

Multi-agent

Delegate subtasks to separate agents

MCP

Client for external MCP servers and its own stdio JSON-RPC server mode

Provider-neutral architecture

Krasichka works with local and hosted LLMs through a single intermediate representation: OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Kimi and llama.cpp are connected via configuration, no rewrites needed.\n\nTool calls execute deterministically and strictly in order to preserve dependencies between commands. Configuration profiles are local by default: session overrides live in memory until you explicitly save them.\n\nThe SolidJS web app is served by the same Rust backend as the terminal UI.

How it works

  1. 01

    Describe the task

Type it in the chat or pass it via kr do

  2. 02

    Agent works with tools

Reads files, runs commands, browses the web — streaming and in order

  3. 03

    Review the result

Watch execution in real time and step in when needed

  4. 04

    Resume the session

Pick up sessions and refine the result in the same context
